CASHIER/LISTER
This full-time permanent position includes two important roles. In the Cashier role, you will be interacting with customers as they pick up their orders, responding to inquiries and providing customer service as needed. As time permits, you will also learn the Lister role, where you will be inspecting and evaluating products for resale, and then listing the products on our website. These varied responsibilities provide an interesting and exciting way for you to start your career with Maxx.
Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new skills. There is also some physical lifting required (up to ~ 15kg). Maxx offers a 4 day, 40-hour workweek, 8am - 6:30pm Tuesday to Friday, with a $25.76/hr starting wage and potential wage increases every 3 months. We provide a comprehensive Benefits Plan that covers Dental, Vision, Prescription, Massage, etc. and we also offer a profit-sharing plan that can add 10+% to your regular pay, once you qualify.
Your Qualifications:
- High school diploma. College or University education is a plus
- Candidates must be positive, reliable, conscientious and team-oriented
- 1-3 years or more of experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally with some cashier experience
- Keyboard skills are required. Familiarity with Microsoft and Google applications is also a plus
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) are required; language is English
- Candidates must be able to lift small-to-medium sized boxes, up to 15 kg in weight

INSPECTOR/SUPPORT WORKER
As an Inspector / Support Worker, you will have a key role in preparing merchandise for sale. This full-time position involves picking orders, inspecting the products, cleaning, sorting and testing the items to prepare them for sale. You will also be displaying and arranging items for photographs and you will learn about how to prepare an on-line listing. It’s a dynamic environment where there’s always interesting work to do. You won’t be bored!
Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new skills. There is also some physical lifting required (up to ~ 15 kg). Maxx offers a 4 day, 40-hour workweek, 8am - 6:30pm Tuesday to Friday, with a $23.48/hr starting wage and potential wage increases every 3 months. We provide a comprehensive Benefits Plan that covers Dental, Vision, Prescription, Life Insurance, etc. and we also offer a profit-sharing plan that can add 10+% to your regular pay, once you qualify.

RECEIVER
This full-time position involves unloading merchandise from trucks using a pump truck, inspecting goods for sale, placing products on shelves and tagging products with bar codes. Once your training has been completed, you will also help to create product listings on our website and get involved with general warehouse duties and more. It’s a dynamic environment where there’s always interesting work to do. You won’t be bored!
Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new skills. There is also some physical lifting required (up to ~ 20 kg). Maxx offers a 4 day, 40-hour workweek, 8am - 6:30pm Tuesday to Friday, with a $26.80/hr starting wage and potential wage increases every 3 months. We provide a comprehensive Benefits Plan that covers Dental, Vision, Prescription, Life Insurance, etc. and we also offer a profit-sharing plan that can add 10+% to your regular pay, once you qualify.
